Top 10 for July 2004

After a long absence from The Phantom Tollbooth Top 10, Bill Mallonee is back big-time! Dear Life hits the top slot in its first appearance on the survey, dropping last month's top vote-getter, Starflyer 59's I Am the Portuguese Blues, two notches. Pedro the Lion stays at number two, and Project 86 vaults from the runners-up to the fourth slot. Blindside, Cool Hand Luke, Demon Hunter, and Five Iron Frenzy remain in the Top 10, and newcomers this month are Lost Dogs with Mutt and the 77s with 88_ Runners-up include Steve Taylor with I Predict 1990, and Duvall's Volume & Density, both new to the survey and just a few votes away from making it into the Top 10.
