It's a tie! In fact, there were three for the December 2001 top ten survey. Enough listeners voted for Vigilantes of Love's Summershine to tie it with last month's number one entry, U2's All That You Can't Leave Behind. Besides Michael Knott's Life of David, these entries are the only ones that remain from the November survey. Newcomer Joy Williams makes her debut at number eight (tied with Andrew Peterson's Clear to Venus) with her self-titled debut, and Creed leaps to number three with Weathered. Receiving a few votes but not enough to chart in November, Five Iron Frenzy is back with Electric Boogaloo, garnering enough votes to place it in a tie for number six, along with R.E.M.'s Reveal.
