Houston reels me in again

Dead Loudmouth
Author: Houston, Victoria
Publisher: Tyrus Books

When Police Chief Lewellyn Ferris is called to the scene of a death that occurred in the dead of night at a local gentleman's club. The club is owned by one of the victims, a member of the private Deer Creek Fishing and Hunting Preserve and the son of a wealthy Wisconsin family. As usual when the county coroner is unavailable, Chief Ferris deputizes her close friend and fellow fly-fisherman, retired dentist "Doc" Osborne, to help. This appears to be no accident. Leaning on the usual Loon Lake guys, they proceed to solve the mystery.

I'm admittedly a fan Lake Fishing Mystery Series. Set in Loon Lake Wisconsin, once again I'm drawn in, hook, line and sinker, into the lives of of the Loon Lake folks. When you add murder, suspense, plenty of fishing and just a little romance, this series is a keeper.  They are relatively simple, fun books that make great afternoon reading.

Another good delivery for Victoria Houston.  I'll look forward to her next cast as she continues to reel me in.
