The Phantom TollboothHello again. Welcome back.

Sometimes you've just gotta bust out an album that you haven't listened to in forever, but you know has been enjoyed on down through the centuries.

Yes, I'm talking about the 1994 album entitled Dulcinea from the great Santa Barbara, California quartet Toad the Wet Sprocket. As everybody knows they were named after a Monty Python comedy troupe skit. Shouldn't that be obvious? But don't let the name of the band fool you.

A perfect example of a band's name where you think to yourself: 'I don't think I can be seen or heard listening to that', but you'd be foolish not to. That's a terrific album!

Just wanted to point that out.

The band still tours today and still plays a ton of those nuggets.

http://www.toadthewetsprocket.com/

Which brings me to, what album will you break out next?

That's what I want to know.

I'm talking the really good ones. The one's that stand the test of time. The one's that say 'look, I know what I'm doing when it comes to rock' n roll!'

The ones that have people's heads turning saying, 'get me some of that' or 'I'll have what she's having' or some variation.

The one's that remind the heart, soul and mind that this is where it's at when it comes to music.

If you come up with anything, let me know via the email address at the bottom of the page.

As always, there is a ton here and this month's edition lends no exception.

Look closely and you never know what you will find.

And don't be alarmed if you feel like you are starting to hallucinate as you look through this list. Some of what you see will be hard to swallow that that can exist. But exist it can. You'll know it when you see it.

So, anyhow, don't be afraid. Relax and have a look around.

LYRICS of the MONTH:

This is a song that I'm certain my late Aunt Sally never heard and I think my cousins might even laugh thinking about the notion of her hearing this song, but it's always been an inspirational song for me for many years and it's from one of my favorite bands of the 1980's and also features one of my all-time favorite guitar players. It's always better to hear these songs, but here are the lyrics. To my late, great Aunt Sally, may she rest in peace. We love and miss you. To all who fought the good fight and to those who continue to do so...may my Aunt Sally be an inspiration. She will always be to us.

The days grow shorter and the nights are getting long
Feels like we’re running out of time
Every day it seems much harder telling right from wrong
You’ve got to read between the lines
Don’t be discouraged, don’t be afraid
We can make it through another day
Make it worth the price we pay

The good book says it’s better to give
Than to receive
I do my best to do my part
Nothing in my pockets I got nothing up my sleeve
I keep my magic in my heart
Keep up your spirit, keep up your faith
Baby I am counting on you
You know what you’ve got to do

Chorus
Fight the good fight every moment
Every minute, every day
Fight the good fight every moment
It’s your only way

All your life you’ve been waiting for your chance
Where you’ll fit into the plan
But you’re the master of your own destiny
So give and take the best that you can

You think a little more money
Can buy your soul some rest
You’d better think of something else instead
You’re so afraid of being honest with yourself
You better take a look inside your head
Nothing is easy, nothing good is free
But I can tell you where to start
Take a look inside your heart
There’s an answer in your heart.”

Rik Emmett, (Triumph), the song 'Fight the Good Fight' off of the album Allied Forces released in 1981.
