Well, what would be more natural for the Jar's of Clay singer-songwriters than to make up stories to his own 2 boys? The boys so love this story that Dad made it into a book. The One the Only Magnificent Me encourages kids to build self-esteem by realizing they are special, sort of a continuation of Mr Roger's thought that people can love you just the way you are. The book is charming and the illustrations by Haseltime's longtime friend Joel Schoon Tanis are wonderful-very colorful and action-packed. Hopefully, Haseltine will keep telling his children stories, enough to make this the first in a long series of books. Shari Lloyd
