  Top Ten for June 2007

The votes are cast and tabulated for The Phantom Tollbooth's June 2007 Top 10 poll, and there are no ties and two runners-up. The top two slots, as well as numbers nine and ten, mirror the May 2007 poll--Mute Math with a resounding number of votes, followed by Ashley Cleveland's Before the Daylight's Shot on the top end, and The Fray  and Anberlin repeat their same slots. Jars of Clay moves up two slots with Good Monsters and Wilco's Sky Blue Sky is up to number five. Arcade Fire joins Richard Cummins in the runners-up category. Newcomers to this June's survey derive from the U.K. music scene--Ian  Hunter (best known as front man for Mott the Hoople) places at number four with Shrunken Heads; Paul McCartney's Memory Almost Full is  at number six, with the Beatles' Love right behind it. Derek Webb  returns to the Top 10 with The Ringing Bell. Remember to vote for your favorite albums you have listened to during the month of July and send your votes to top10@tollbooth.org.
