Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship is an interesting, top-notch project that will resonate with an under-served potion of the Christian music buying public – Country/Americana fans looking for something up their musical alley.  Glory Revealed is a worship CD produced by Third Day’s Mac Powell that features Scripture-based lyrics sung by some well-known talents including Steven Curtis Chapman, David Crowder, Shane & Shane, Candi Pearson, Michael W. Smith and producer Powell.  The song selection is a pleasant surprise with tunes written by Powell, Chris Tomlin, Candi Pearson, and other familiar names.  Kudos to Mac Powell – who knew he has solid production talent as well as the singing chops present on Glory.  Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship is enjoyable, chillin’ country-flavored music treat that worship fans will enjoy.   The lack of any up-tempo tunes and the brevity of the project are the only downsides to an otherwise fine project.  Listeners will enjoy hearing their favorite artists singing in a bit different venue.
