November 2005 Top Ten

The November 2005 Top 10 voting results are finally tabulated and reported, including new entries, shuffling of placements, re-entries/surprises, two ties, perhaps something predictable. New to the survey are ... and the rest will follow by Project 86, Luxury's Health and Sport, The Rock and Roll Worship Circus Becomes The Listening with its self- title project, and Casting Crowns' Lifesong. Buddy Miller moves up four slots to number two, Switchfoot slips to number seven, and Starflyer 59 moves up five notches from the October survey. Re-entries are from Ashley Cleveland and Rich Mullins' A Liturgy, A Legacy, and a Ragamuffin Band_ a favorite of Phantom Tollbooth readers. "The predictable"? Sufjan Stevens received a commanding number of votes to repeat in the top slot. Remember that every vote counts in The Phantom Tollbooth's Top 10 survey, and here are the November 2005 results:

1. Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
2. Buddy Miller - Universal United House of Prayer
3. Project 86 - ... and the rest will follow
4. Starflyer 59 - Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice
5. Luxury - Health and Sport
5. The Rock & Roll Worship Circus Becomes The Listening - The Listening
7. Switchfoot - Nothing is Sound
8. Casting Crowns - Lifesong
9. Ashley Cleveland - Men and Angels Say
9. Rich Mullins - A Liturgy, A Legacy, and a Ragamuffin Band
