June 2005 Top 10

The Phantom Tollbooth votes for the June 2005 survey are cast, tabulated and reported, with ever-intriguing results--for the second month in a row, no ties! Newcomers are Dream Theater (at number two with Octavarium), and in continuing order, Porcupine Tree's Deadwing, and The Choir's O How the Mighty Have Fallen. Radiohead re-appears with OK Computer, and other returnees are Jars of Clay, U2, Mae, Over the Rhine, and (drum roll, please) SF59's Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice resoundingly winning the most votes. Slipping out of the Top 10 are Bill Mallonee, Ashley Cleveland, Roper, Ben Folds, and Eisley, all of whom received votes but not enough to receive "runners-up" entries. So . . . get busy counting the number of times you're listening to your favorites during the month of July. Remember that every vote counts, and let us hear from you for your July 2005 Top 10 votes.
